I know this engine very good. For the gearbox I had to spy in the partslistbook because a ring and circlips are very easy put in the wrong position.
Before oktober 2018 it smoked a lot. But I rode like this for ar least two years. It just kept going, with a little oil now and then
At the end of october 2018 I organised my second " duo 50cc" . That's a 50cc event where you ride from Virton to Oostende, including at least 4 checkpoints. It Starts the Saturday 19h when the sun just not goes under. And you have 24h to reach the coast in Oostende. Around 10 duo's participate.
Why I'm telling all this?
In the beginning of october I splitted the engine, I made it a original 50 again. After 200km I had gearbox issue ( I broke 3th gear in september, after we did some heavy field"moto"cross with it, and other bikes like Zündapp... 6volt ( my club) likes old bikes that have to suffer. So I re-opened the engine. Thought I fixed it with old crap but when we drove from our home ( yes that's 800km in one weekend) after 100km same issue. Basicly I rode the 800km without 2nd gear with a 50cc with small powerband that only rides good when it's above 8000rpm.
So after ordering new gearbox Parts at cmsnl.com I splitted the engine for the 3th time to make it my trusty 90cc again. And in Kautokeino I had to do it a Fourth time
